Join the Mary Ann Swetland Center for Environmental Health for an August seminar featuring Alannah Glickman, a PhD candidate at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at Ohio State University.
Glickman will present “A Relational Approach to Evaluate Food Environments Finds That the Proximate Food Environment Matters for Those Who Use It” Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 9 a.m.
Glickman’s research aims to understand which public administration and policy mechanisms can help local and regional communities make their food systems more sustainable and more just. In this month’s seminar, she will highlight findings from her research that investigates whether shopping close to home moderates the relationship between the proximate food environment and diet.
