Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship for a Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series roundtable discussion with Hambleton Lord, Joseph Mandato (MGT ’04) and Christopher Mirabile April 7 at 1 p.m.
They will discuss the book they co-authored, The Entrepreneur’s Journey.
The Entrepreneur’s Journey is a collection of stories about startup companies and the entrepreneurs who built them. It is organized into five themes focused on the challenges of driving customer awareness, the importance of founding teams, the hurdles of investing in hardware products, the fateful role timing plays in the outcome of startups, and the difficulties startups face getting acquired.
Lord, Mandato and Mirabile have been founders, senior management team members, or board members for over three dozen early-stage companies. Collectively, they have decades of startup investing experience in hundreds of companies. They have combined their collective wisdom and startup experience in one concise volume, filled with narrative stories of these startups and their founders.
Marisa Katz (CWR ’21), who is pursuing her BA in economics and MSM-Finance, will facilitate this discussion.

This roundtable and future roundtables will be broadcast through LinkedIn Live on the CWRU Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship’s LinkedIn page.
