“A Celebration of Music and Art”

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to the Cleveland Arts Prize’s “A Celebration of Music and Art” Saturday, Dec. 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Cleveland History Center.

The event will be held in honor of the opening of the “Honoring Our Past Masters: The Golden Age of Cleveland Art, 1900–1945” exhibition.

The exhibition is the result of efforts of a partnership among the Cleveland History Center and Case Western Reserve University’s Department of Art History and Art in the College of Arts and Sciences. Art historian Henry Adams, the Ruth Coulter Heede Professor of Art History, curated the exhibition, which will be on display through April 4.

A concert with members and friends of The Cleveland Orchestra will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Norton Gallery. Tickets are required for the concert.
