The university has identified and, as of last night, repaired a problem that a weekend software update caused for employees seeking to apply for other positions at the university through the internal applicant portal. The portal for external applicants was unaffected. If you are an employee of the university who tried to apply for a campus position anytime between Sunday, July 14th and 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 17—and/or submitted an application through the external applicant portal—please notify Human Resources at AskHR@case.edu.
HR staff will make sure CWRU employees who submitted applications are correctly identified as internal candidates within the system.
A planned update to the Human Capital Management (HCM) system this weekend unexpectedly blocked users’ ability to apply through the internal applicant portal. When initial attempts to correct the problem did not immediately succeed, the Office of Human Resources disabled the internal applicant link until the issue was corrected.
