Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing with a party Uptown in Toby’s Plaza Saturday, July 20, from 7 to 11 p.m.
The Moon Landing Party will feature a bounce house, solar system slingshot and Armstrong strength games with Tremont Athletic Club from 7 to 9 p.m.
Space-themed virtual reality games will be offered from 7 to 11 p.m.
At 9 p.m., there will be an outdoor screening of First Man, a 2018 film that tells the story of Neil Armstrong. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History will host a pre-movie talk on the topic of “Landing proof!” at 8:30 p.m.
Astronomers from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History also will be on hand for sky-watching from 9 to 11 p.m.
