Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience with the collection of survey data? If so, you might be interested in a volunteer opportunity with the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods (PRCHN) at Case Western Reserve University. The PRCHN is currently looking for volunteer survey administrators to assist with the collection of Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) data in high schools in Cuyahoga County during the Fall 2019 semester.
A training for those interested will be held August 6th, 2019 from 10:30 to 11:30 in the PRCHN Conference Room, on the 4th floor of the BioEnterprise Building (11000 Cedar Avenue). Volunteer commitments are flexible – once trained, administrators can sign up for whichever survey days/times fit their schedule starting this summer through December.

About the YRBS
The goal of the Cuyahoga County YRBS (CC-YRBS) is to monitor and track the risk behaviors of local youth so as to inform, evaluate, and identify emerging needs for health programming and policy. The CC-YRBS is a survey used to track adolescent risk behavior over time. It is tailored to fit local needs and consists of questions on a variety of topics including bullying, alcohol and other drug use, weight and nutrition, and protective behaviors.
The YRBS is being conducted in all high schools throughout Cuyahoga County in the Fall semester of 2019.
