The Cleveland Humanities Collaborative will host an informational meeting about a new program for Case Western Reserve University graduate students interested in gaining experience teaching the humanities (or humanistic social sciences) in a two-year college.
The Humanities Teaching Careers at Community Colleges program will consist of a fall seminar that introduces participants to community college education and teaching, followed by a select number of paid fellowships in the spring to allow recipients to shadow and teach alongside a mentor from Cuyahoga Community College.
The Humanities Teaching Careers at Community Colleges information meeting will be held Wednesday, May 1, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Guilford Hall parlor/dining room. Food and drinks will be provided at the meeting.
All are welcome to attend the information session; registration is not required.
Those who are interested in the program but cannot attend the session can email Kim Emmons at kke1@case.edu for more information.
