The Silver Hall Concert Series continues with a performance by the CWRU Symphonic Winds Sunday, April 14, at 3 p.m. in the Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at the Temple–Tifereth Israel.
The CWRU Symphonic Winds, under direction of Ryan Scherber, is the university concert band open to all CWRU and Cleveland Institute of Music undergraduate and graduate wind, brass and percussion players by audition.
This group of students is composed of both music majors and non-majors. CWRU Symphonic Winds is dedicated to the performance of the most advanced repertoire written for the wind band medium.
