“Using Photovoice to Capture Diverse Experiences of Cleveland’s Opioid Crisis”

The final event in the 2019 Social Justice Research Lunch Series will be held Tuesday, April 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room A13 (ground floor).

Lee Hoffer, associate professor of anthropology, and alumna Allison Schlosser (GRS ’18, anthropology) will present “Using Photovoice to Capture Diverse Experiences of Cleveland’s Opioid Crisis.”

Hoffer and Schlosser will discuss findings from their visual participatory action research project, which combines media studies, interviewing and photography to give voice to people who use opioids.

Attendees are invited to bring a lunch to the event; desserts and drinks will be provided.
