Phi Kappa Tau’s Alpha Delta chapter at Case Western Reserve University recently received numerous awards at the fraternity’s 60th National Convention in Nashville, Tenn. The group was awarded:
- Academic Excellence
- Administrative Excellence Award (for reporting and administrative detail)
- Philanthropy Award (presented to chapters that donate more than $2,000 to philanthropic organizations)
- Order of the Star
During the 2011 calendar year, Alpha Delta chapter met Order of the Star expectations within the Borradaile Challenge, the fraternity’s standards program, to be considered one of the higher-tiered chapters in the fraternity. The Alpha Delta chapter excelled in many areas, including scholarship, philanthropy and reporting.
In 2011 the Phi Taus at Case Western Reserve raised more than $2,300 for philanthropic organizations. The chapter received these awards and recognition at Phi Kappa Tau’s 60th National Convention.
