The Department of Sociology will host a lecture titled “Trans Kids: Being Gendered in the Twenty-First Century” presented by Tey Meadow, assistant professor of sociology at Columbia University. The lecture will be held Thursday, April 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 108.
Lunch will be provided.

Meadow is the author of the acclaimed book Trans Kids: Being Gendered in the Twenty-First Century, published by the University of California Press, and co-editor of Other, Please Specify: Queer Methods in Sociology.
