The Student-Run Free Clinic (SRFC), an interprofessional collaboration between the School of Medicine and the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, will host the first SRFC Charity Golf Tournament Sept. 15 at noon. SRFC is a Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Registration for the event, to be held at Fowler’s Mill Golf Course in Chesterland, is now open. The fee is $150 per player, and individuals can sign up alone or in any size group. Those who register before Aug. 15 will save $25 per player. Registration includes a round of golf, cart, pre-round lunch and post-round dinner with silent auction; prizes will be awarded to top teams.
Individuals interested in only attending dinner can do so for $40 per person. Sponsors also are being accepted.
The CWRU Student-Run Free Clinic’s mission is to provide health care to underserved populations in the Greater Cleveland community while offering health-profession students unique clinical practice opportunities to foster interprofessional collaboration. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the SRFC’s ongoing mission.
