Elect Her, a national training program for women students, will return to Case Western Reserve University Feb. 16 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women (Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248).
All women students—at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels—are invited to register for the half-day training to learn how to run for elected office on campus, leadership positions and beyond.
Elect Her at Case Western Reserve is a joint presentation between the national nonprofit Running Start and the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women.
The training will feature a panel presentation with the following elected women from the Northeast Ohio region:
- State Senator Nickie Antonio,
- Cleveland City Councilwoman Phyllis Cleveland,
- Cleveland Municipal Judge Jazmin Torres Lugo; and
- City of Aurora Mayor Ann Womer Benjamin.
Lunch will be provided at the event. Registration is required and must be completed by Feb. 13. Register for Elect Her.
