Military History Monthly named Associate Professor of History John Broich’s recent book, Squadron: Ending the African Slave Trade, one of the best military history titles of the year.
Broich’s book was one of 12 to be nominated for the Military History Monthly Book Awards. Osprey Publishing sponsors the competition. Individuals can vote on their favorite book, with the winner to be announced March 8 at Current Archaeology Live! 2019 in London.
