The holiday season is a time when many families and friends gather for long-held traditions. Here at Case Western Reserve University, we have many winter traditions of our own—both past and present. Throughout December, we will highlight a few the university has celebrated throughout the years.
As per tradition, Case Western Reserve University students will enjoy a communal breakfast together during finals week. The only twist: breakfast will be served from 9:30 to 11 p.m.
Late Night Breakfast was born in 1988 and has remained one of the most anticipated traditions on campus since its inception. Anywhere from 1,200 to 1,500 students usually attend the event, which has hosted games, activities and talent shows in recent years.
This year, Late Night Breakfast will take place Thursday, Dec. 13, from 9:30 to 11 p.m. Students are encouraged to close their books and head to either Fribley or Leutner Commons.
