Office of Annual Giving launches recurring donation program; runs concurrent crowdfunding campaigns

Last spring, the Office of Annual Giving ran three concurrent crowdfunding campaigns to raise money for a variety of programs across campus.

Due to the success of those campaigns, the Office of Annual Giving will be running a new set of campaigns that will highlight other areas of campus for the fall semester.

The main effort focuses on the official launch of the new monthly giving program, Spartans Lead. The campaign to launch the new program went live Oct. 16 and will end Nov. 16.

The Spartans Lead Program is the new and easy way to make a recurring donation to Case Western Reserve University. Individuals can set the amount, designation and duration of their gift. While a one-time gift is good, a recurring monthly gift is even better for the sustainability of any area of campus or program an individual chooses to support.

In addition to the launch of Spartans Lead, there are four other concurrent crowdfunding campaigns that will each run for two weeks and focus on certain departments under the College of Arts and Sciences.

A campaign benefitting the Department of Psychological Sciences (listed on GiveCampus as Invest in Our Students) began Oct. 16 and will run through Oct. 30.

Additionally, three campaigns will run from Oct. 23 to Nov. 6 for the:

  • Department of Biology;
  • Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities; and
  • Department of English.

To become a Spartan Leader or to support any of the departments listed above, visit Case Western Reserve University’s GiveCampus page.
