Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to the Martha L. and Irwin H. Lepow Medical Student Research Day Thursday, Sept. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Ballrooms A, B and C.
The event celebrates research done by students at the CWRU School of Medicine and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
There will be oral presentations and posters by students enrolled in the following programs:
- MD;
- MD/MS;
- MD/MA;
- MD/MPH; and
- MD/PhD.
Peter Heeger, the Arthur and Irene Fishberg Professor of Medicine and director of the Translational Transplant Center at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will give a guest lecture titled “Understanding how complement regulates adaptive alloimmune responses in transplantation.”
The program will conclude with a distribution of awards.
