The Laura and Alvin Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will present a panel discussion moderated by Peter Krouse, public interest and advocacy reporter at cleveland.com, titled “Ohio Gun Laws: What are our options?” Krouse will talk with experts about the history, present and future of attempts to reduce gun violence in Northeast Ohio.
The panel will consist of:
- Daniel J. Flannery, CWRU, director of the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education;
- Mike Henne, Ohio State Representative, 40th district; and
- Michael J. Skindell, Ohio State Senator, 23rd district
The event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center’s Ballroom. It will be free and open to the public.
