Lynn Singer, Case Western Reserve University’s deputy provost and vice president for academic affairs, presented “Prenatal polysubstance exposure and child development” as part of an expert panel Monday, April 9, in Rockville, Maryland.
The panel presented at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s meeting concerning “The developmental impact of opioid use in pregnancy and pragmatic approaches to support children and families.”
The panel was formed to produce a working document summarizing research and recommendations regarding treatment of opioid dependence in pregnancy and child outcomes.
