The 2018 Student Success Summit will focus on how student affairs practitioners, faculty and staff can develop effective approaches to support students who struggle to complete their degree.
The 2018 Planning Committee seeks engaging and influential proposals that incorporate this year’s theme: Connect, grow and impact.
About proposal submission
Proposals must be submitted by Friday, May 18. Proposals will be evaluated using the following for standards:
- Significant and creative contributions to current research or evidence-based practices centered on student success;
- Engaging program format that involves the audience and stimulates discussion;
- Conceptually strong foundation, well-written, with clearly stated outcomes and appropriately documented research or experience; and
- Qualified presenters with expertise in the subject matter.
Presenters whose proposals are accepted must register for the summit. Registration opens Friday, June 8.
Presenters will be notified of their program status by Thursday, May 31, and presentation details (date and time) will be shared no later than Thursday, June 7.
