As a part of Food Symposium 2018, the Office for Sustainability will host a Green Bag Lunch with a panel of local farmers. Representatives from Green City Growers, Miller Farm and Hartzler Dairy will speak about their local operations and participants will have the opportunity to ask the panel questions.
The Office for Sustainability’s student Sustainability Ambassadors who have a focus on food also will present the campus’s Real Food Challenge results.
The Green Bag Lunch will be held Wednesday, March 28, from noon to 1 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Senior Classroom.
A light lunch will be provided, highlighting the food grown at the speakers’ farms.
