Cheryl Toman, professor of French and chair of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, gave a lecture at France’s most prominent research center, the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique in Paris Thursday, Feb. 8. Toman’s lecture was part of a program that paid tribute to feminist sociologist Andrée Michel, who was a visiting scholar at Case Western Reserve in 1966-1967.
Toman also is director of Women’s and Gender Studies at CWRU.
