The LGBT Center will host a conversation group called Spoonie Spectrum on the first Monday of every month this semester.
The group talks about being in the intersection of the LGBT community and living with disability. People with visible and invisible disabilities are welcome.
The name Spoonie Spectrum refers to the Spoon Theory, which is a way to measure how much energy a person with a disability has to complete daily tasks.
The group’s remaining meetings will be held March 5 and April 2 at 6 p.m. in the LGBT Center (Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 179).
