Bioethics open house reception and information session

Earn your master’s in bioethics and medical humanities through Integrated Graduate Studies (IGS). The Department of Bioethics will host an open house and information session Thursday, Feb. 22, at 5 p.m.

Learn the details of this one-year master’s program and how you can earn the degree in your senior year at Case Western Reserve University.

The event will open with a welcome reception from 5 to 5:30 p.m. in School of Medicine, Room TA200. Students will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with faculty and current IGS and master’s students. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.

The information session about the IGS program and the master’s in bioethics and medical humanities will be held from 5:35 to 5:55 p.m. in School of Medicine, Room T401.

Following the information session, interested students are welcome to attend and participate in the evening seminar “Foundations in Bioethics” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The topic for the evening is acute human/nonhuman neurological chimerism, taught by Insoo Hyun, associate professor of bioethics.
