The Case Nobel Symposium will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, at 4 p.m. in Rockefeller Building, Room 301.
Four Case Western Reserve University faculty members will talk about the accomplishments for which the 2017 Nobel Prizes were awarded in the sciences and economics.
The speakers will be:
- Harsh Mathur (physics) on the prize in physics;
- Phoebe Stewart (pharmacology) on the prize in chemistry;
- Peter Harte (genetics and genome sciences) on the prize in physiology or medicine; and
- Mariana Carrera (economics) on the prize in economics.
A reception will follow the talks.
The Cell Biology Program of the School of Medicine and the Department of Physics will sponsor this event.
