The Case Western Reserve University Office for Sustainability and Facilities Department organized the 2017 Energy Contest Nov. 1-15, pitting residence halls against each other to see who could reduce electricity usage the most.
The South Side residence halls reduced the most and won the contest. Office for Sustainability student ambassadors gave out organic T-shirts at the Thwing Study Over as prizes for winning residents.
There are T-shirts still available to claim, and sustainability ambassadors will give them out during dinner at the Fribley Commons dining facility from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23.
