Join the health sciences schools as they host Michael Roizen, chief wellness officer for Cleveland Clinic and a No. 1 New York Times bestselling author, for a presentation Friday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m. in Thwing Center ballroom. Complimentary breakfast will be available at 8:30 a.m.
Roizen will present “Becoming Age-Proof: What’s New and Key for You Getting Younger in 2017?”
In his lecture, Roizen will focus on how Cleveland Clinic approaches the way we often neglect two of the most important long-term goals: our health and wealth. .
Attendees will learn:
- Why chronic disease prevention is so important to our society and to you;
- Why financial and medical wellbeing are related; and
- A few new strategies to keep your brain healthy.
Roizen is a past chair of a Food and Drug Administration advisory committee and a former editor for six medical journals. He has published more than 175 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 100 textbook chapters, 30 editorials, and four medical books (one a medical best-seller), and received 13 U.S. and many foreign patents.
