The deadline to apply to host a Case Western Reserve University orientation program has been extended to May 14.
Through orientation events, new Case Western Reserve University students learn more about the resources, programs and activities available to them at Case Western Reserve and discover the rich traditions and diverse opportunities here. In addition to regularly scheduled orientation events, this year the campus community can provide additional programming for first-year students.
By applying to host an event, offices, organizations or departments have the opportunity to reach out to new students, as well as to allow new students to explore the richness and diversity of CWRU. Orientation programs, activities and/or lectures coordinated by departments, organizations and offices will be offered in a conference-style format Aug. 22-26.
Submissions should not include applications for Meet the Faculty and/or SatCo; these events will require a separate submission process.
Representatives from offices, organizations or departments that are interested in participating must complete the online application by Monday, May 14.
Decisions regarding program selection will be made taking into account the mission of New Student Orientation and ensuring a diversity of programming. All program proposals that are selected will be assigned to work with a member of the office of First Year Experience/New Student and Parent Programs to facilitate the coordination of the program.
