Elizabeth Davis, alum of Cleveland stage, gets Tony Award nod
The Plain Dealer: The musical Once earned 11 Tony Award nominations, including alumna Elizabeth A. Davis (GRS ’06) for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical. Ron Wilson, director of the MFA Acting Program, remembered scouting her for the program. “You don’t come across those people all that often,” he said, “so when you do, it’s stunning. You know it—you just know it.”
