Case Western Reserve University Green Dot will host a Year 2 Kickoff event Thursday, June 22, at 3:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248.
Green Dot is a bystander intervention strategy to prevent power-based personal violence. It empowers participants to make observations, draw conclusions and take safe steps toward intervention in uncertain situations.
The purpose of the event is to:
- Inform individuals about what Green Dot is;
- Reconnect with existing Green Dot educators;
- Provide an update about the status of Green Dot as organizers move toward training students, starting in September;
- Recruit additional educators.
Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
