Join the Case Western Reserve University Historical Performance Program for its production of George Frideric Handel’s opera Acis and Galatea May 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Harkness Chapel.
The program-wide collaboration includes the Baroque Orchestra, Baroque Dance Ensemble and Early Music Singers, directed by Julie Andrijeski, senior instructor of music.
The production will feature CWRU and Cleveland Institute of Music students:
- Margaret Carpenter Haigh, soprano;
- Merav Elden, mezzo;
- Nathan Dougherty, tenor; and
- Daniel Fridley, bass.
These performances are free and open to the public.
