Join the LGBT Center for International Transgender Day of Visibility to learn more about the accomplishments of the transgender people who fight cissexism and transphobia while spreading knowledge about the transgender community.
The event will be held Friday, March 31, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 179.
Rachel Crandall, head of Transgender Michigan, created International Transgender Day of Visibility in 2010 by to celebrate the transgender community in a positive light.
This year’s theme is #TransResistance.
Refreshments will be provided at the event.
