Tree Campus USA will celebrate the oldest trees on campus for Tree-Day Friday, March 31, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Wet-Dry Fountain.
The campus community can play tree trivia and get free cupcakes (gluten-free and vegan cupcake options will be available). At the end of the event, organizers will plant a tree across the street.
The event will be held in appreciation of campus trees and those who care for them, and is part of the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus USA program to recognize and encourage best forestry practices on campus.
In case of rain, the event will be held Friday, April 7, in Guilford Hall, from noon to 3 p.m.
