The Department of Dance continues its 2016-17 season with “Prisms,” a thesis concert featuring MFA candidate Tingting Zhou. Performances will be held March 30, 31 and April 1 at 8 p.m., and April 2 at 2:30 p.m. at the Mather Dance Center.
The concert will feature guest choreographers and alumni Ziying Cui and Dani Dowler.
Zhou will perform the following works during the concert:
- “Concrete Jungle,” an ensemble work;
- “Fierce Flame,” a solo work set to music by Long Zhou; and
- “Entangled Cave,” a duet incorporating Zhou’s knowledge of computer science.
Cui and Dowler will restage “Rite” and “Sensemaya la culebra,” respectively.

Tickets are $7 for students with ID, $10 for adults age 60 and older and CWRU personnel, and $15 for general admission.
