The Case Western Reserve University Baroque Orchestra will hold a concert featuring works by George Frideric Handel, Georg Philipp Telemann, Antonio Lucio Vivaldi and Johann Sebastian Bach.
The concert, held Monday, March 27, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., will be the orchestra’s first in the Maltz Performing Arts Center at the Temple–Tifereth Israel, Silver Hall.
The performance will feature timpani, trumpets, violin and cello soloists.
The following students will perform:
- Allison Grace Monroe and Eva Lymenstull: Vivaldi concerto
- Alan Choo and TszTo Wong: Telemann concerto
- Nathan Dougherty, Margaret Haigh and Luke Conklin: solos in the “Ode to St. Cecilia”
Julie Andrijeski, senior instructor of music, will direct
The concert is free and open to the public.
