With help from the Social Justice Institute, foster care youth who now are part of the Case Western Reserve University community don’t have to spend the holidays alone.
Less than 10 percent of foster youth graduate from college, and many students who have aged out of foster care are living independently, without access to family or community support.
The Social Justice Institute will help foster youth here at CWRU by connecting them with family hosts for holiday meals and celebrations.
If you are a foster youth who would like to join new friends this year, or if you are interested in welcoming a student into your home, email Lisa Kollins at lbk24@case.edu.
