More than 50 years later, questions remain about the JFK assassination. Do the conspiracy theories have validity? What if Lee Harvey Oswald lived to see his trial?
On Oct. 6, Judge Burt W. Griffin, a former staff member of the Warren Commission, along with a distinguished panel of legal experts, will discuss the commission’s investigation and findings, the surrounding conspiracies and the legal cases of the key figures in the assassination.
“The Warren Commission: 50 Years Later—Legal and Ethical Issues Related to the Investigation of the Assassination of JFK,” will take place from 8:30 to 4:15 p.m. at the Tinkham Veale University Center at Case Western Reserve University.
The conference has been approved for six hours of CLE credit. Advance registration is necessary to attend.
Admission for CWRU students, staff and faculty is free. General admission for the public is $50. CLE credit is $100 for alumni and $200 for non alumni.
Net proceeds from the event will go to the Lewis Katz Scholarship Fund.
