The summer barbecue season will begin today (June 8) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at a new location between Kelvin Smith Library and the Tinkham Veale University Center south entrance.
The menu will feature a beef hamburger/cheeseburger combo for $8 per person or a vegetarian black bean burger combo for $6 per person. This week’s special protein option will be bratwurst. The special protein prices vary week to week.
In addition to a protein, each meal will include a bag of chips, a “chef’s choice” side, condiments, lemonade and bulk water.
Americana artists Laurie and Ed Caner, director of the Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Programs and instructor of physics, will perform this week.
Cash, credit cards and CaseCash/CaseCharge will be accepted at the barbecue entrance.
Bon Appetit Management Co., the Office of Summer Programs, Plant Services and Campus Services sponsor the barbecues.
