Between August 2015 and May 2016, dozens of individuals from across Case Western Reserve University participated in a collaborative effort to understand current technology needs and to identify emerging priorities. Using this feedback and studying global trends, the university developed a plan that sets priorities, focuses energy and resources, and provides direction for a changing, more centralized environment.
Today (June 8), [Re] Imagining IT, Case Western Reserve’s Information Technology Strategic Plan, will be celebrated at a launch event open to the campus. The celebration will be held from noon until 4 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom. Individuals who cannot attend in person can view the live stream at case.edu/livestream/s1. For more information about the celebration, including an agenda and instructions for submitting questions, see the event invitation.
Today also marks the first opportunity for members of the university community to read and reflect on the new strategic plan. The 36-page document is available on the IT Strategic Plan and IT Centralization websites, and feedback from readers is encouraged through the Google Form link on the final page.
