Images generated within the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics (CCIPD) made the front cover of the April edition of European Urology, the highest ranked urology journal in terms of impact factor.
The images shown are a result of work in the center’s group on quantitative histomorphometric feature modeling of prostate pathology images. The graphics show the use of computational imaging tools to quantify nuclear architecture and nuclear shape in order to predict prostate cancer outcome and aggressiveness.
George Lee, research assistant professor generated the images. Anant Madabhushi, professor of biomedical engineering, leads CCIPD.
