An open dialogue on the state of inclusion at CWRU will be held in Thursday, April 21, at 8 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballrooms B and C.
Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. There will be dinner and drinks provided, and the event is for student, faculty, administration, and staff alike.
Naomi Sigg, director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs, will open the event will an introduction of the Sustained Dialogue moderators and facilitators for the evening. Sue Nickel-Schindewolf, associate vice president of student affairs, also will share her thoughts on the importance of inclusion on campus and the goals of the evening.
The entire campus community is invited to share their perspectives and stories in small dialogue groups, followed by a large group debrief.
Edwin Mayes, director of first-year experience and family programs, and AmariYah Israel, department coordinator for the LGBT Center and the Office of Multicultural Affairs, will lead a large group debrief to cap off the event.
The Undergraduate Diversity Collaborative, Interfraternity Congress and Panhellenic Council organized the event.
