This week’s Faculty Friday event for students will feature a casual discussion on climate March 18 from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the Happy Dog.
Peter Shulman, associate professor of history, will present “Energy and Climate in American History.”
Shulman studies technology, science and American politics in the 19th and 20th centuries, with special interests in the history of:
- Energy;
- Environment;
- Communication;
- Transportation;
- Intelligence; and
- American foreign relations.
He teaches courses in the history of technology, energy and the environment, historical methods and contemporary history.
