John Kasich isn’t solely responsible for Ohio’s economic successes and failures. “It’s hard to paint a picture of economic dynamism, or complete economic devastation, that can be pinned on the governor,” she said. “National and global forces are the main things that are responsible, especially for short-term unemployment rates.”
