The ConnectCWRU task force was created as part of the initiatives within the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Suicide Prevention Grant that was awarded to the Division of Student Affairs last summer.
The task force, which meets quarterly to evaluate and update suicide-prevention efforts, is seeking input and expertise from many valued campus partners to be successful at creating this system of support and connectedness on campus.
Learn about those initiatives at the next University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) session.
Sara Lee, physician at University Health Service and assistant professor of pediatrics, and Nell Davidson, director of University Health Service, will present a summary of the first campus assessment, which demonstrated many successful programs and initiatives.
The task force received great feedback at a Feb. 26 meeting and would like to solicit additional feedback from campus partners.
The UCITE session will be held Thursday, March 17, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Allen Memorial Medical Library’s Herrick Room (use Adelbert Road doors).
Pizza and sodas will be provided at this session. RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
