Scalia’s death undercuts conservative hopes on unions, abortion
Bloomberg: After the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, explained that cases that already were argued and put to a private vote are preliminary results. “Any of these cases that would have been 5-4 with Justice Scalia in the majority, resolution of the underlying issues will have to wait for another day,” Adler said.
