Time: Sharon Meropol, assistant professor of pediatrics, talked about a study revealing that a mother’s health and the microbes she has may have a bigger impact on babies in vitro than researchers originally believed. “We knew it was important for mom to be healthy but now there is even more evidence for how important the maternal environment is,” she said.
