‘Violins of Hope’ project left deep, long-lasting impact on Northeast Ohio
The Plain Dealer: Jay Geller, the Samuel Rosenthal Professor of Judaic Studies, and Daniel Goldmark, professor of music, explained the impact Violins of Hope had on students and on the Cleveland community in general, marking it up as a major success. “Cleveland went all in on this in a way that was really impressive,” Goldmark said. “Maybe that’s the main benefit: that other cities will look at this and say, ‘Oh yes, we can do this, too.’ ”
