The Case Western Reserve University History Associates will host a program on the de-industrialization of steel in Northern Ohio Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 5:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Skating Club (2500 Kemper Rd., Shaker Heights).
Historian M. Susan Murnane will present “LTV’s Bankruptcy and De-industrialization of the Steel Industry in Northern Ohio.”
The CWRU History Associates are a group of alumni and community members who contribute to the Department of History by providing financial support for graduate students and arranging programs.
Dinner will be served at the lecture.
Tickets cost $40. Checks should be made out to “History Associates, CWRU” and sent to Frank LaRue (106 Mather House, 11201 Euclid Ave., Cleveland).
Reservations and payment for the meal are due by Jan. 22.
