In 1920, Franklin D. Roosevelt came to Western Reserve University to speak to the School of Law. At the time, he was running for democratic vice president alongside James Cox. While Warren G. Harding won the presidency that year, Roosevelt went on to become president in 1933.
In his talk at WRU, Roosevelt addressed the topic of the League of Nations.
