#blueCWRU, a student group formed to help increase school spirit by organizing student sections at CWRU sporting events, the Department of Physical Education & Athletics, and the University Spirit Committee are sponsoring the first “#blueCWRU Blowout” on Friday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center’s Smith Commons (next to the food court).
The celebration of Spartan spirit will feature a CWRU athletics gear firesale, performances by the CWRU pep band and the debut of the University Spirit Committee’s CWRU fight song contest. Also, students wearing CWRU gear will receive a free drink with a food purchase from eateries at The Tink.
The CWRU gear firesale will give the campus community the opportunity to purchase old CWRU uniforms and T-shirts at student-friendly pricing. Come early to take advantage of the best selection.
A portion of the proceeds will go to #blueCWRU to assist them in school spirit initiatives including giveaways at future athletic events.
